Update 10.4.08

Posted by knightvision on October 4, 2008

I’ve been working a lot lately, which is a good thing, and haven’t had much time to work on my RPG stuff. I’ve completed a city map for Ebonyr today. Tell me what you think.

Update 9.28.08

Posted by knightvision on September 28, 2008

Well, yesterday and today I’ve been working on a town writeup for Orisa. Orisa is a small port town on the Meridian Sea. Its claim to fame is its proximity to the Ebony Isles and the mysteries there in.

I’ve also started working on the basic outline of B1 Mace of Souls.

Web 2.0 Saturday 9.27.08

Posted by knightvision on September 27, 2008

Another website that I used a lot is Slide. It takes your pictures and artwork and allows customization so that you can post them on your own website. Slide makes the whole process very easy and the end result is fantastic.

New module format

Posted by knightvision on September 21, 2008

I’ve been really struggling, as of late, on the format of my new module and modules there after. I’ve been creating different styles of maps and posting them on the Goblinoid Games forums for feedback. I also wanted to create some background material on BBEG (Big Bad Evil Guys). I’ve started with a flowchart created in Open Office Draw and then converted into a PNG file.

On the module structure, I really suck at describing rooms. I was thinking about putting that labor onto the LL during the game. I would have a map of the room with furniture and encounters and maybe a smell to give the LL more information.

Tell me what you think?

Web 2.0 Saturday 9.13.08

Posted by knightvision on September 13, 2008

I found a gem of a site last weekend that I must share. Its called BookletCreator.

I allows you to submit your PDF and it exports it as a booklet that you can print out. I thought it was pretty cool for a small RPG publisher as myself.

Enjoy.

Web 2.0 Saturday

Posted by knightvision on September 6, 2008

Here’s another installment in the web 2.0 Saturday series.

Today’s pick is Divshare.com
Divshare is an online storage site that is extremly easy to use and it’s free. They give you 5GB and you get to create folders for each type of media such as docs, media, photos.

The reason I use it is because after you upload Divshare give you options on how you want to share the media. It give you forums or embed options, brilliant!

What am I doing?

Posted by knightvision on September 6, 2008

Well the past week has been a busy one. I’ve had a few people on the Labyrinth Lord forums proofread the new module, “Dark Shore”. I should have the errors fixed by end of this weekend.

Web 2.0 Saturday 8.30.08

Posted by knightvision on August 30, 2008

Sorry that I’m a little late on this today. I’ve been hard at work on my first adventure module A-1 Dark Shore. All I have to finish is the maps and proofreading, then its complete. I hoping to complete it this weekend.

On now to the Web 2.0 pick of the web. This week I picked Picnik. It’s an awesome online photo editor that is completely free to use. My website host Synthasite has intergrated it into there GUI to fix photos that you upload to your site.

Here’s a review from PC World.
